§ 10.10.010. Regulations.

  • (A)

    Pursuant to ORS 810.040, East California, Highway 238 and N. Oregon Street are designated as truck routes within the City. Motor vehicles having a licensed gross vehicle weight of over 11,999 pounds shall not use or travel upon any other City streets in the City except where such motor vehicles are using the residential streets for the purpose of making a delivery or picking up all or a portion of a load in that residential area in the City and then only by entering such streets at the intersection nearest the destination of the vehicle and leaving by the shortest route.

    (B)

    Motor vehicles having a licensed gross vehicle weight of over 11,999 pounds shall be allowed to use or travel upon that portion of Pair-A-Dice Ranch Road in the City of Jacksonville, Oregon, between its intersection with Highway 238 northward to the boundary line of the City limits of Jacksonville between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., on Monday through Friday, inclusive. The is allowed unless they violate the provisions regarding vehicle limits in ORS Chapter 818 or other applicable Oregon statutes regarding such motor vehicle truck traffic or the size, weight or load of such vehicles.
