§ 1.07.170. Unified Development Code violations; civil penalties.

  • (A)

    Any person, firm or corporation, whether as principal, agent, employee or otherwise, violating or causing the violation of any of the provisions of the Unified Development Code has committed an infraction, and upon conviction thereof is punishable by a fine established by the City Council. A schedule of fees, fines and penalties is kept on file in the offices of the City for review.

    (B)

    Such person, firm or corporation is guilty of a separate violation for each and every day during any portion of which any violation of this title is committed or continued by such person, firm or corporation. The Municipal Court and Jackson County Circuit Court shall have concurrent jurisdiction over prosecution of violations of the Unified Development Code.
