§ 1.07.220. Unified Development Code violation complaints.
(A)
Complaints concerning violations of the provisions of the Unified Development Code may be initiated by:
(1)
Written complaint filed by a citizen;
(2)
Any City departmental official responsible for the enforcement of this Code; or
(3)
The City Administrator or City Attorney.
(B)
After receipt of complaint the City Administrator shall conduct a brief investigation and make a determination whether the allegations of the complaint deserves consideration of enforcement action against the complainant. The City Administrator may refer the complaint to the appropriate body or officer which/who is authorized to grant or deny approvals related to the Code provision alleged to be violated for purposes of seeking a recommendation concerning enforcement or for purposes of enforcement or other action by the review body or officer.
