§ 1.08.010. Violation; penalty.

(A)

Any person violating any of the provisions or failing to comply with any of the mandatory requirements of any ordinance of the City is guilty of a misdemeanor. Except in cases where a different punishment is prescribed by any ordinance of the City, any person convicted of a misdemeanor under the ordinances of the City shall be punished by a fine established by the City Council. A schedule of fees, fines and penalties is kept on file in the offices of the City for review.

(B)

No penalty imposed by this section or by any ordinance or Code section of the City shall exceed the penalty imposed by State law for the same offense.
