§ 2.36.030. Emergency meetings.

  • An emergency meeting is a special meeting called on less than 24 hours' notice. There must be an actual emergency and the minutes must describe the emergency justifying less than 24 hours' notice. The governing body must attempt to notify the media and other interested persons, generally by telephone or email.
