§ 12.16.030. Posting of numbers.

The assigned house number shall be posted on each unit within a period not to exceed six months from the date on which written notice is given the occupant. If the proper number is not placed on an existing building within such six-month period, the City shall install the proper number or numbers on the premises and to make a charge of labor and materials, which said charge shall become a lien against the premises on which the building is located and shall be entered by the Recorder in the docket of liens of the City. Such liens shall bear interest at the rate of six percent per year from the date of entry in the lien docket and shall be immediately due and payable and subject to foreclosure in the manner provided by the laws of the State. The notice and hearing provisions of chapter 8.04 shall be applicable to this chapter.
