§ 1.07.050. Service of citations.

If a citation is issued pursuant to this chapter or state law, the code enforcement officer or peace officer shall serve the summons portion of the citation personally on the person cited. However, such a summons may also be served in the same manner as prescribed for the service of summonses in ORCP Rule 7D. When a complaint is certified by a private person, the Court shall cause the summons to be delivered to the defendant by a peace officer.
