§ 2.08.020. Powers and duties; removal from office.

(A)

The Fire Marshal shall have the power with the consent of the Council to appoint a deputy to act in the place and stead of the Fire Marshal.

(B)

The Fire Marshal or their deputies shall enforce the provisions of this chapter, chapter 8.08 and all other ordinances pertaining to the protection of the City from fire.

(C)

The Fire Marshal and their deputies shall maintain all certifications and memberships that pertain to this position.
