§ 1.07.120. Statute of limitations as to enforcement proceedings seeking a fine only.

(A)

The following section applies only to enforcement proceedings instituted by citation pursuant to the procedures under this chapter seeking a fine only. It is not construed to limit the time within which other enforcement remedies or relief may be sought by the City or others who have standing to do so.

(B)

Actions limited by this section shall only be commenced by issuance and service of citation within six months after the cause of action has accrued without continuing offense. Where the citation is issued for continuing offense, the citation shall be issued and served within three years after the failure to obtain the required permit.
