§ 2.36.080. Quorum.

  • The Mayor, or in their absence, the President of the Council, shall call the meeting to order at the hour designated for the meeting. If a quorum is not present, the Recorder shall immediately notify the absent members, except those known to be unavoidably detained or absent, that their presence is required. The Council members present may direct an officer of the town to request the absent member to attend the meeting. If a quorum cannot be obtained, the members present shall adjourn until another specified time or until the next regular meeting.
